Lost
I feel around me, I’m lying on the icy ground?
‘Where am I?’ I ask myself. I lay silently.
‘Woo!’ someone shouts. It sounds familiar.
Suddenly I see someone flying above me.
I look around me, everything is white. ‘What happened?’ I scream. ‘Who’s that, am I in heaven?’. ‘Hey who’s that’ I shout as a rope is lowered down to my hand.
I try to move but my muscles won’t budge. I can’t reach the rope.
I can’t move.
Someone slides down and picks me up, and up we go.
I see a crowd staring at me when we finally reach the top.
I feel a wave of embarrassment and my face reddened.
Suddenly four people rushed towards me. ‘Michelle!’ shout my friends.
‘We were looking for you the whole time, we were worried!’
A few hours pass and I finally realise that while I was snowboarding I fell into the cracks of the snow castle, I was badly concussed and my arm was broken.
Because of that day, I never went snowboarding again. I will never forget and never understand exactly what happened.
